As soon as Mimeistry was founded and started operating in the US, we expanded throughout the world. In 1983, Mimeistry’s founder Todd Farley performed in Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles for the Christian Embassy. Since that time Todd & Marilyn Farley and all of Mimeistry’s other performers have lived and traveled around the world, pioneering Mime & Dance as an artistic form of ministry. Mimeistry's international work has included: the Jerusalem 3000 World Tour, Easter Week for The British Broadcasting Company, David (performed in David's Citadel with an 800 voice choir and 100 piece orchestra), the Emanuel National Tour, I Love Estonia tour in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, The Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem, Philippines Benefit Tour (for the victims of Mount Pinatubo), GCOWE 95 South Korea, and other Mimeistry International tours in over 40 nations. Decades after our early beginnings, Mimeistry has established offices, branches and/or representation around the world: New Zealand, Brazil, England, Ireland, France, Holland, Russia, South Africa, and beyond.
The Europe office under the direction of Jacque Hyde has a long history of European tours, workshops, and leadership, with a unique mime fellowship known as Encore. Nick Hyde is the leading influence in the creation of the Mastery of Mimodrame series now known as the world-wide standard for Mimeistry technique. On the international directors list one cannot forget the long standing office of Farid and Martina who have continued to spearhead the French branch and newer leaders such as Anne-Marie in Toulouse, or Isabelle and Jane in New Zealand. Artists such as Barbara Käser help keep Mimeistry on the avant-garde as she introduces the highly developed skills of Decroux's style, and Traveling Masters Theo and Jolie Williams lead the newest generation of Mimeistry artistic ministers from around the world. As artists come and study with Mimeistry, we are excited to see them return to their homes and nations to continue the vision of seeing the arts as a form of ministry.
